Hi, I’m Matt Hawkins, but everyone just calls me “Hawkins.” I’m a senior software engineer on the Webex Collaboration AI team at Cisco. Recently I've been working on personalization, summarization, and consolidating/standardizing interactions with various LLMs and providers.
I provide a hard-working, quick-learning mentality along with a strong computer science and mathematics background. I love working on teams that take pride in completing challenging projects and know how to ship successful products that impress customers.
I completed my M.S. in Computer Science (3.93 GPA) in 2018 from Portland State University. In 2019, much of my time was spent preparing for and hiking over 1,100 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail with my wife.
